In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), emotions play a fundamental role in people’s well-being.
The fulcrum of TCM are movements such as FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER AND WOOD.
An emotion is associated with each of these movements:
FIRE – CHEERFUL
EARTH – REFLECTION
METAL – SADNESS
WATER – FEAR
WOOD – ANGER
And a spiritual activity is connected to each emotion.
The imbalance of these emotions, due to excess or insufficiency, also leads to a physical imbalance which has the consequence of the disease.
Through acupuncture and moxibustion we will go to see how to help our emotions according to TCM to heal us and to find serenity and well-being.
To work on emotions we will move through the channels of the meridians to rebalance and restore the spiritual activities associated with each Yin organ belonging to its own movement.
FIRE – SHEN (feeling of the heart)
EARTH- YI (feeling of the spleen)
METAL – PO (feeling of the lung)
WATER – ZHI (kidney feeling)
WOOD – HUN (feeling of the liver)
